Lost & Found Service: If you accidentally leave behind an item, our team is here to help. Please contact the front desk promptly, and we will do our best to locate and return your belongings. While we handle items with care, we appreciate your understanding that the hotel is not responsible for items that are lost or stolen.

There are fully stocked first aid kits around the property. Should there be a minor injury please contact the nearest member of staff. Please note the staff are not fully qualified medical personnel. For any serious injury or in case of doubt always ensure that a fully qualified doctor is called immediately.

Nairobi National Park
At 117km2 the park is the only wildlife reserve located so close to a major city. Despite its location it is one of the few parks in Kenya where you can be certain of seeing a black rhino in addition to lion, leopard and buffalo, four of the Big Five. It also incorporates the Nairobi Safari Walk, a cross between a zoo and a nature trail.

David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
The Trust is a small but well organised charity that is passionate about the welfare of animals in captivity and wildlife management. At the sanctuary less than 10 minutes away from the city, visitors can come into close contact with orphaned baby elephants at play and can also sponsor the trust by 'adopting' them.
Entry is 20 USD plus 60 USD park entrance fee per person plus 20 USD for the vehicle and driver entrance fee.
Open weekdays strictly between 11:00am – 12 noon only
Booking is required at least 3 Months prior to the intended visit date.
Giraffe Center
The Giraffe Centre was created by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (A.F.E.W.). The aim of the Centre is to educate Kenyan schoolchildren about wildlife conservation and also afford you an opportunity to hand feed the rare and wild Rothschild giraffe.

A former house plays host to this unique shopping experience incorporating various outlets each selling a variety of interesting and vibrant African products which are ideal souvenirs and gifts.
Matbronze Art Gallery & Foundry
For everyone interested in wildlife sculpture, Matbronze is an exciting and unique gallery where you can purchase wonderful bronze pieces.
Kazuri Beads
Founded in 1975 by Lady Susan Wood to teach jewellery making to the poor, Kazuri produces handmade, ceramic jewellery and tableware. Today Kazuri still provides opportunities for local women to make a living by producing truly unique pieces. Here you can visit the workshop and also purchase jewellery and tableware.
Karen Blixen
This museum was the original home of the Danish Baroness, Karen Blixen on whose book the film ‘OUT OF AFRICA’ is based. The property was restored by the Danish government and retains much of the original furniture which gives visitors a useful glimpse of life in Kenya in the early part of the 20th Century.
